COIMBATORE: A three-year-old female elephant was found dead in Uliyur beat of Sirumugai reserve forest on Wednesday evening.
The carcass was found by a team of frontline staff. There was no injury on the carcass.
Officials said the cause of the death would be known after postmortem.
