DABUR at All Time High; BSE FMCG Index Up 0.1%

DABUR share price has hit an all-time high at Rs 580 (up 2.5%).

Meanwhile, the BSE FMCG Index is at 12,973 (up 0.1%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE FMCG Index today are DABUR (up 2.5%) and P&G HYGIENE (up 0.6%).

KRBL (down 0.3%) and AVANTI FEEDS (down 0.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, DABUR has moved up from Rs 480 to Rs 580, registering a gain of Rs 100 (up 19.8%).

The BSE FMCG has moved up from 10,706 to 12,973, registering a gain of 2,267 points (up 20.3%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE FMCG Index stocks during this same period were ADVANCED ENZYME TECHNOLOGIES (up 158.6%), E.I.D. PARRY (up 133.9%) and EMAMI (up 133.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 48,888 (up 0.6%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are TCS (up 4.0%), ONGC (up 2.9%) and ICICI BANK (up 2.5%). Other gainers include HDFC BANK (up 2.3%) and TATA STEEL (up 1.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and ICICI BANK.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 14,598 (up 0.6%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include TCS (up 4.0%), WIPRO (up 3.5%) and CIPLA (up 3.3%). Other gainers include ONGC (up 2.8%) and ICICI BANK (up 2.7%).

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 30,690 to 48,888, registering a gain of 18,198 points (up 59.2%).

DABUR Financial Update...

DABUR net profit stood at Rs 5 billion for the quarter ended December 2020, compared to a profit of Rs 4 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 16.0% to Rs 27.3 billion during the period as against Rs 23.5 billion in October-December 2019.

For the year ended March 2020, DABUR reported 1.7% increase in net profit to Rs 15.5 billion compared to net profit of Rs 15.2 billion during FY19.

Revenue of the company grew 2.0% to Rs 87 billion during FY20.

The current Price to earnings ratio of DABUR, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 63.5x.
