Kolkata Knight Riders’ Andre Russell with 5/15 against Mumbai Indians slipped to second.
DC’s Avesh Khan with 3 more wickets against RR moved to the 3rd spot while DC Indians’ Chris Woakes climbed to the 4th spot.
Rules for IPL Purple Cap
- The award is given to the leading wicket-taker of the IPL season.
- The bowler with the most wickets in the tournament during the season would wear the Purple Cap while in the field.
- In case of a tie, the Purple Cap is given to the bowler with a superior economy rate.
