Enrique Iglesias' Bailando video has achieved a massive feat - surpassing the three billion view mark on YouTube.

The video for the 2014 hit, which features Descemer Bueno and Gente De Zona, is "a first for Iglesias and one of fewer than 20 music videos to share the achievement," according to a YouTube statement shared by Billboard.

Filmed in the streets of the Dominican Republic, the Bailando video sees the artists joined by a group of dancers and locals as they party away.

"I do my best and put so much enthusiasm into songs, songwriting, and videos," Enrique previously told Billboard.

He added: "But, ultimately, it comes down to the fans and how they react. If it wasn't for them, really, the song wouldn't be the hit that it's been."

Other videos that have surpassed the three billion mark include Katy Perry's Roar and Justin Bieber's Sorry.

To date, according to YouTube, Luis Fonsi's Despacito is still the most-watched music video with 7.2 billion views.
