Chandigarh, Apr 15 (UNI) Amid spurt in COVID-19 infections, Haryana government has cancelled Class X examinations for the year 2020-21 to be conducted by the Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani.
The decision has been taken on similar lines as per the decision taken by the Central Board of School Education (CBSE) regarding cancellation of class X examination. The results of the students studying in these classes would be declared as per the guidelines issued by CBSE.
Sharing details in this regard, an official spokesperson said that students who are not satisfied with the test result will be given the opportunity to sit in the formal examination after the situation is normalized.
He said that the proposed examination of class XII that was scheduled for April 22, 2021 has been postponed due to the prevailing situation.
He informed that after examining the situation on June 1, 2021, a decision will be taken regarding conducting the examinations. Datesheet of class XII will be issued by giving 15 days prior notice to the students
