PTS to start offering SEK 1.6 bln broadband subsidies in May for Norrland, Svealand and Gotaland

Swedish communications regulator PTS said it will start inviting applications for SEK 1.60 billion in state funding for broadband in this year's round in May. It said the public funding allocations will be split by geography into Norrland, Svealand and Gotaland. The aim is to make money available in areas where no commercial provision is expected within the near future.
