Arkansas-based broadband service provider Ritter Communications has announced new funding toward the company’s expansion into Morrilton, located in the state’s River Valley. The company has allocated an additional $4 million dollars to continue the ongoing project.
As a part of the broadband connectivity expansion, Ritter will now offer customers the company’s full suite of telecommunication services, which include television, voice, networking, and custom cloud solutions. The expansion is just one of many ongoing projects within the rural regions of the state, with new developments currently happening in locations that include Texarkana,Pine Bluff, Lonoke, and Arkadelphia.
“We’ve seen dramatic changes in the last year in the way businesses utilize the internet, meaning true 100% fiber internet has become less of a luxury and more of an operational necessity,” said Ritter Communications CEO Alan Morse.
The Morrilton expansion will make Ritter Communications the first provider in the area to offer XGS-PON service, which will enable business customers to access up to 10 gigabits per second of 100% fiber connectivity.
