NEW DELHI: Shares of Ltd. traded 1.67 per cent down in Thursday's trade at 01:06PM (IST). Around 641 shares changed hands on the counter.

The stock opened at Rs 30600.0 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 30896.75 and Rs 29522.05, respectively, in the session so far. The stock of Shree Cements Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 32050.0 and a 52-week low of Rs 17563.8.

As per BSE, the total market cap of the Shree Cements Ltd. stood at Rs 107738.02 crore at the time of writing this report.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 3649.38 crore for the quarter ended 31-Dec-2020, up 8.83 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 3353.33 crore and up 13.63 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 3211.65 crore.

The net profit for latest quarter stood at Rs 630.87 crore, up 103.75 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.

Shareholding pattern
As of 31-Dec-2020, domestic institutional investors held 8.41 per cent stake in the company, while foreign institutional investors held 12.18 per cent and the promoters 62.55 per cent.


Valuation ratio
According to BSE data, the stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 53.25 and a price-to-book ratio of 4.81. A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price because of better future growth expectations. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.
