Mumbai, Apr 15 (UNI) The BSE Sensex on Thursday advanced by 259.62 pts to close at 48,803.68 on renewed buying in Bankex, Metal, Power and Energy stocks amid weal global peers.
The Nifty too moved up by 76.65 pts to 14,581.45.
The Sensex registered days high and low at 48,887.85 and 48,010.55 pts respectively.
The Nifty recorded days high and low at 14,597.55 and 14,353.20 pts respectively.
