Hyderabad: The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and TalentSprint, an NSE group company, have announced their fourth deep tech program with the launch of the PG-level advanced certification program in VLSI (very large-scale integration) Chip Design.
The six-month program is designed for industry professionals looking to design future chips with features that could drive new age technologies such as AI, IoT, VR, Mobility, Cloud and Analytics. The program is offered through interactive online classes by faculties of the Department of Electronic Systems Engineering (DESE) at IISc, and it will enable participants to learn and practice in industrial projects using VLSI instruments and boards.
The program director, Dr Chetan Singh Thakur, announced the program and said: “We are working with TalentSprint to prepare this program for professionals on the future of Chip Design. The program is designed to build strong foundations on advanced digital, analog and emerging technologies, combined with mentoring practice on industry-relevant capstone projects, with the best VLSI tools and boards. ”
