Our five IGN Expo events brought together exclusive announcements, brand new gameplay, developer walkthroughs, and much more - including games like Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Fall Guys, Borderlands 3, Biomutant, Mortal Shell, Chivalry 2, and many others.

We also partnered with huge names across the industry to bring you their events on IGN. We presented Sony's PS5 reveal event, Night City Wire, EA Play Live, The PC Gaming Show, Guerrilla Collective, and more.

We looked to gaming's past, as well as its future. Throughout the event, we spoke to icons of the industry about their work on the games that shaped the medium, from David Hayter on his role as Solid Snake, to CD Projekt Red's Marcin Blacha on The Witcher's use of choice and consequence.

We also used Summer of Gaming to raise money for charity throughout the month, beginning many of our shows with speedrunning challenges, and running a huge celebrity Animal Crossing island tour stream featuring Simu Liu, Felicia Day, Shannon Woodward, Cliff Bleszinski, Matthew Mercer, Austin Creed, Michelle Zauner of Japanese Breakfast, Jessica Chobot, Lauren Lapkus, Naomi Kyle, the Merrell Twins, Andrea Rene, Alanah Pearce, and Arin Hanson of Game Grumps.
