Bengal witnessed a lot of atrocities in the last 10 years: Nadda

Katwa, Apr 14 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president J P Nadda on Wednesday said Bengal has witnessed a lot of atrocities in the last 10 years.

He said the people, however, aren't afraid or tired. They have decided to build 'Sonar Bangla' by voting for the BJP and bringing real transformation.

Addressing a public meeting here, Mr Nadda said, 'Mamata Didi doesn't care about 'Maa, Maati, Maanush'. We've seen enough proof of that.'

'She only cares about tolabaji, cut money, appeasement and dictatorship. The people of Bengal need to answer these strongly,' the BJP president said.

He said this region has poor connectivity, and illegal mining is rampant.

'We assure you that we will build cold storages, warehouses, roads will be repaired, middlemen will be removed and farmers will be benefitted,' Mr Nadda said.

'Didi's persistent anger and bewilderment proves that she has lost the elections. She was recently banned by the EC for 24 hours for her communal and divisive comments. This is the kind of leadership Bengal has had for the last 10 years,' the BJP president alleged.

'From Mamata Didi's cut-money and corrupt governance, BJP will take Bengal on a new road of development,' Mr Nadda added.
