I think the point he was trying to make was that the media's coverage sensationalizes the rioters/rioting and that creates a cycle where it makes the situation worse. That the media has no interest in the cause of the rioting, just the spectacle of it. Ratings at any means necessary.Originally Posted by Merc009

I think his underlying theme is that MSM always portrays black people as some kind of spectacle. thats why the media enjoys it.
its very common in sporttalk (ima sportscel)....you get a eloquent white guy and then you have a black sports commentator who talks like he be in da bighouse doing lyfe, ya feel me?
They could easily get a black guy who talks like obama but about sports but instead they get some cartoonish black man.

Just because he called out CNN doesn't mean he made a good point.
