The live-action Gundam movie was announced back in 2019 and it has finally got a director. Netflix has revealed that Metal Gear Solid movie director Jordan Vogt-Roberts will direct and produce the live-action movie adaptation of Sunrise’s Gundam.
Brian K. Vaughan is writing the script and serving as the executive producer alongside Cale Boyter of Legendary. Netflix has kept details about the movie’s plot under the wraps. The streaming platform said, “The Gundam universe is replete with numerous story lines of love and conflict along with the popular Gundam battles, in which the characters operate robot suits called Mobile Suits.”
Legendary will distribute the Gundam live-action movie in theaters in China. Everywhere else, the movie will be available on Netflix.
