The 18-year-old Krithi Shetty is the latest sensation in Tollywood. She recently made her debut with the movie 'Uppena' and she shared screen space with Vijay Sethupathi in that movie. Even though she is from a Kannada-speaking family she was brought up in Mumbai and she is still studying Psychology at an Open University. She is already seen in several commercial ads.

She made her debut in 'Uppena' which was directed by Buchi Babu sana and bankrolled by Mythri movie Makers and sukumar Writings. Currently, she is shooting for 'Shyam Singha Roy' where she romances Nani. Apart from this she also has 'Aaa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali' under Mohana krishna Indraganti's direction co-starring Sudheer Baby and an untitled movie under tamil director Lingusamy's direction.

Now, she has bagged a biggie as she will be seen pairing opposite dhanush under balaji Mohan's direction. dhanush recently scored a sensational hit with 'Karnan' and is awaiting the release of 'Jagame Thanthiram' on Netflix. Now, he has decided to join hands with 'Maari' director balaji Mohan for the third time and the combo has decided to rope Krithi Shetty as the female lead role.
