The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic is having an all-round impact on consumers in India. From the way they shop to what they buy, the past few quarters have altered every aspect of consumer behaviour, shows a recent survey by UK-based market search firm YouGov.

Online delivery seems to have been much more popular than click-and-collect services in most of the surveyed markets. Apart from shopping behaviour, the pandemic has led to changes in FMCG category consumption. Consumption of fresh fruits & vegetables increased among urban Indians but intake of junk food decreased during this time. ...
