As the country is witnessing a surge in coronavirus cases day-by-day, several have lost their near and dear ones to the deadly virus till now. Now, Singer Baba Sehgal’s father passed away April 13 due to COVID-19 complications. The singer shared the sad news of his father’s demise on his social media handles as he wrote, 'Dad left us today earlier this morning.. Warrior the whole life but lost to COVID. Please keep him in your prayers. Stay Safe and Blessed.' Baba Sehgal also shared a series of pictures and a video of his dad and other family members. Soon after, several B-Town celebs like Abhishek Bachchan, Kubbra Sait and Vir Das among others offered their condolences. While Abhishek Bachchan wrote, 'Deepest condolences. Prayers', Zoa Morani dropped a heart emoji. Actor Vir Das mentioned, 'I'm so sorry for your loss. Sending love to you and yours.' Gulshan Devaiah wrote, 'Sincere condolences Baba Sorry for your loss.' Recently, Baba Sehgal received the first dose of the CPVID-19 vaccine and took to his Instagram to share a couple of pictures. Back in September 2020, actor Aditya Seal who is known for his performances in 'Tum Bin 2', 'Student of The Year 2', also lost his father and producer Ravi Seal due to COVID-19. Meanwhile, several Bollywood celebrities have tested positive for coronavirus, Govinda, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor and many others. However many of these have recovered from it and are back to their routine. Coming back to Baba Sehgal, he is one of the finest Indian rappers we have in Bollywood. Apart from being an ace rapper, he has acted in several Telugu and Tamil films. He is also known for his hilarious Tweets and parody songs. Meanwhile, India on April 13 recorded 1,61,736 new cases of the coronavirus, according to numbers released by the Ministry of Health.
