Realme 8 5G, Realme 8 Pro 5G may launch in India soon
NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Realme recently launched the Realme 8 Pro series in India. If the rumours are to be believed then the 5G variants of the phones may arrived soon. A report by GizmoChina revealed that the 5G variants of the phone are set to launch in Thailand on April 21. The report further speculates that the phones could be launched a day later in India. Realme hasn't confirmed anything about the phones' launch in India.
Realme 8 5G is rumoured to come with a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will be powered by octa-core Dimensity 700 processor and it will be backed by a 5000mAh battery.
Based on these specifications, it is expected that that the Realme 8 5G is the rebranded version of Realme V13 which the company recently launched in China.
Realme 8 5G (V13 5G) specifications
The Relame V13 5G comes with a 6.5-inch full HD+ display with 1080x2400 pixel resolution. The smartphone display comes with a 90Hz refresh rate.
The handset is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor paired with 8GB of RAM. The smartphone comes in two storage variants -- 128GB and 256GB. Users can further expand the storage by adding a microSD card.
The dual SIM smartphone runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company's own layer of realme UI 2.0. The device sports a triple rear camera setup with 48MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 2MP B&W and 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front you will get an 8MP selfie sensor.
The smartphone comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and it is backed by a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
