Apples first big event of 2021 to be held on April 20
The first big Apple event of 2021 is here. Cupertino-based tech giant sent out media invites for its “Spring Loaded” event that will take place on April 20. Like all of the Apple events of 2021, this one too will be an online-only affair.
What to expect from the April 20 event
Apple hasn’t made any comment on what it will announce at the event but rumour mills have been working in overdrive. It is expected that Apple will refresh its iPad Pro line up with a new model. It has been speculated that the iPad will come an all-new processor. Also, it has been suggested that for the first time Apple will bring mini-LED display tech to the iPad.

A report by Bloomberg stated that even though the iPad Pro might be unveiled, there might be a delay in shipments due to the ongoing global chip shortage.

Apart from the iPad, another long-rumoured product is the AirTags — a Tile-like tracking device that may finally arrive. Several hints have been dropped in iOS updates and it was expected to launch last year. However, the April 20 event might just be the day when the AirTags may see the light of the day.

Rumours about new models of AirPods have also been doing the rounds. However, there have been contradictory reports around them. Noted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has said that AirPods will not come in early 2021 but only in the third quarter of the year.

Since Apple recently discontinued a model of the iMac Pro, we might just see an upgrade of the line up.
