Major is an upcoming indian biographical film directed by Sashi kiran Tikka and produced by sony Pictures, G. mahesh babu Entertainment and A+S Movies. The film is shot simultaneously in telugu and hindi and later dubbed into malayalam, it is based on the life of 2008 mumbai attacks martyr Major sandeep Unnikrishnan. Adivi Sesh (in his hindi film debut) portrays Major sandeep Unnikrishnan, the title character, in addition to writing the script. The film is scheduled to be released theatrically on 2nd July 2021.

Adavi Sesh had become popular in telugu with the movie pawan Kalyan’s Panja. Since then, he was very close to Pawan’s family. Pawan’s kids akira and Aadya are very close to him and he will be regularly in touch with them. renu desai is also a good friend to him. renu once posted the photographs of him in Instagram. Yesterday, again renu posted the photographs of their kids with Adavi Sesh during the launch of Major teaser. She also wrote that “congratulations to the brother of akira and Aadya on the occasion of teaser launch”.
