Adani Green Energy gains as its arm commissions 50 MW solar power plant in UP

Adani Green Energy is currently trading at Rs. 1093.50, up by 7.70 points or 0.71% from its previous closing of Rs. 1085.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1040.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1105.10 and Rs. 1034.15 respectively. So far 87163 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1341.60 on 24-Mar-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 167.50 on 13-Apr-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1225.00 and Rs. 1034.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 170383.72 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.92%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 23.10% and 1.99% respectively.

Adani Solar Energy Chitrakoot One (ASECOL), a subsidiary of Adani Green Energy (AGEL), has commissioned 50 MW Solar Power Plant in Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh (UP). The plant has a 25 Years Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation (UPPCL) at Rs 3.07/kwh.

This commissioning takes AGEL’s total operational renewable capacity to 3,520 MW, a step closer to its vision of 25 GW capacity by 2025. With the successful commissioning of this plant, AGEL has an operational solar generation capacity of over 3 GW. AGEL has total renewable capacity of 15,240 MW including 11,720 MW that have been awarded and are at different stages of implementation. With this 50 MW, AGEL marks the beginning of this year’s commissioning plan with full commitment from its team, amidst continuing challenges of the COVID19 outbreak.
