Bush says she hopes to remain involved volunteering with the R.O.A.R. program, but promised herself that when she reached 70, she'd retire. It will also allow her to move back into her parents' long-time home in South Park, bringing her closer to remaining Beaumont relatives. Both of her parents were teachers with BISD. Her father, Arthur Randall taught Black history at Charlton-Pollard - "before there even was such a thing as Black history, " she noted.
