Ludhiana rural police arrests man for murder of occultist

LUDHIANA: Ludhiana rural police has arrested a person for murder of an occultist and throwing his body in drain after packing it in a bag as he suspected him of having affair with his wife. The accused was identified as Javed of Shahin Bagh in Delhi.
Addressing media persons at Jagraon, SSP Ludhiana rural Charanjit Singh Sohal said that a murder case was registered on the statement of Anil Kumar of Langeana Basti Moga, presently sanitary inspector Municipal Council Jagraon that on 11 February their department workers Rajesh Kumar, Sham Chand and Rakesh Kumar were there for cleaning the Drain from Subash Gate to Grewal colony when the found a heavy weight baggage from the drain.
Police officials said that from the luggage, a part of body i.e. feet come out and the information was given by complainant on phone. They added that police later went to the spot and recovered the dead body from the baggage.
Police officials added that the deceased was identified as Galib Hussain of Bigashwari in Bihar, who was residing in a rented house at Jagraon’s Nalkian Wala Chowk.
Police officials said that during investigationthey identified the accused and arrested him. They added that during probe it was found that deceased Galib worked as an occultist.
Cops said that the accused revealed that he went to Galib’s house for the treatment of his wife. They added the accused divulged that during treatment he had doubt that Ghalib had illegal relationship with his wife.
