Nvidia launches 3D simulation platform, teams up with Ericsson on 5G use cases

Nvidia has announced the details of a 3D design platform called Omniverse that allows global engineering teams to work across multiple software suites to collaborate in real time in a shared virtual space. The so-called "metaverse" for 3D production teams is now available as an enterprise service, with Nvidia having already evaluated the virtual tool with companies including BMW Group, Ericsson, Foster + Partners and WPP.
