FCC launches Speed Test app for improving broadband coverage maps

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is inviting the public to download its Speed Test app, which is being used to collect speed test data as part of the commission's Measuring Broadband America program. With the app, people can test the performance of their mobile and in-home broadband networks.
