Siddipet: The Minister of Finance, T Harish Rao, presented checks to the Chief Operating Relief Fund (CMRF) of R85.82 lakh on Tuesday in Siddipet.
During the same program, Harish Rao also presented Kalyana Lakshmi and Shadi Mubarak checks to 85 beneficiaries.
During the event, Rao appealed to the citizens not to visit private hospitals as the government provides all the facilities in state hospitals and also provides Diagnostic Hub with all the necessary equipment.
Rao said they also served meals to 300 patients at the state hospitals three times a day. Rao said the private hospitals would charge them excessively. He said all the specialists were in the state hospital. He said they would provide LOC (credit letter) to help the patients undergo treatment at NIMS and other hospitals in Hyderabad.
Warning of citizens about the second phase of Covid-19, the Minister suggested that they go for vaccination without any delay. He also stressed the importance of wearing masks, and washing hands, in addition to maintaining social distance.
