Lowe’s is unveiling its first tool rental service in the region this week at the Beaumont store on Dowlen Road.
The self-service kiosk will open on Wednesday to customers and features curbside pickup and commercial-grade equipment.
The first Lowe’s Tool Rental launched in August 2020 and the company continues to expand the concept nationwide.
Each tool rental service has around 4,000 square feet of space with a fully equipped mechanic shop, provisions for on-site cleaning and product demo areas for the customers
The company has said that it will be hiring for nine new positions at stores with the service to, like a new tool rental department supervisor, mechanic and service associates.
