Norlys pledges open access network after Stofa switch to fibre

Tuesday 13 April 2021 | 14:16 CET | News
Danish operator Norlys said it is planning to upgrade its coaxial network to fibre, and intends to offer every customer on Stofa coax infrastructure a fibre internet connection by the end of 2021. The operator said it has decided to focus solely on fibre in its supply catchment, to avoid running parallel networks. In response to a newspaper report, it said these fibre networks will be open to alternative service providers in order to maintain competition.
