U-blox introduces module for LTE-M and NB-IoT with 400 MHz support

U-blox said it has introduced the SARA-R540S module to support 400-450 MHz LTE spectrum bands in Europe, Asia and Latin America. The new module is part of the SARA-R5 LTE-M and NB-IoT communications product range and serves in particular communications infrastructure for IoT ecosystems. The new module is equipped high RF power output and supports Power Class 3 transmission over standard LTE bands and Power Class 2 with 26 dBm maximum output power in the 450 MHz spectrum.
