COVID-19: Yediyurappa to convene all party meeting on April 18

Bidar, Apr 13 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa on Tuesday said that he will convene an all party meeting on April 18 to discuss Covid-19 situation and about imposition of lockdown.

Speaking to newsmen at Basavakalyan, he said people should cooperate with the government in controlling the surge in the second phase by wearing masks and maintaining social distance.

He said that the expert committee has given a report that by May 2 the covid second wave positive cases may be at peak.

However, he clarified that there is no proposal to impose lockdown at present.

Referring to the agitation by Transport workers, he made it clear that there is no question of implementing the Sixth Pay Commission, eight demands fulfilled, no work no salary.

On the outcome of the by-elections, he said BJP will win all the by-elections including Belagavi Lok Sabha.
