Orange Counnty Sheriff’s officers Dru Crochet and Scott Barnes each are struggling with recovery from COVID-19. Crochet is currently on a ventilator at a hospital in Houston, while Barnes is grappling with long-term COVID-19 effects.
Orange City officer Howard DeVault, known to many as “Popsi,” is struggling to recover from a condition that left him paralyzed on one side.
The gathering also offered prayers for all first responders and healthcare providers, as well as elected officials before opening the altar call with prayer warriors to any in need of healing.
