Orlando Pirates head coach Josef Zinnbauer on Tuesday heaped praise on attacker Deon Hotto who the German says has proven to always play a crucial role in either creating or converting chances.
Zinnbauer will be hoping that the Namibian attacker can once again prove influential when his side face Mamelodi Sundowns in the quarter-finals of the Nedbank Cup on Thursday.
Speaking ahead of the blockbuster clash between arguably the two in-form teams domestically, Zinnbauer heaped praise on the increasing influence of Hotto so far this season.
"Hotto has been a huge influence for us," Zinnbauer said. "He can occupy different positions with his new position being now even as a striker.
"In most times if we look back at previous games such as the Nedbank Cup and especially the MTN8 and also in the league, then you can see just how many assists he has.
"In most occasions when we score he is more than not involved and we are very happy that we have him at the moment.
"But you need always the entire team, because it's a team game so yes there have been lots of positive performances that he's given us but also you need the entire team," said Zinnbauer.
Kick-off is at 18:00.
