Saraikela police nabs three ultras of CPI Maoists

Saraikela, Apr 12 (UNI) Police has arrested three ultras belonging to the CPI Maoists squad led by wanted maoist commander Maharaj Pramanik from Urmal under Chauka Police Station area of this district.

Briefing the press on Monday at Adityapur Police Station Saraikela SP Md Arshi said that the arrested have been identified as Sujeet Kumar Munda, Matindra Natb Manjh8 and Chaburam Munda.

From the arrested naxal literature, 4 mobiles, bike and Rs 5,000 collected as levy has been seized. The SP said that a team of the district police alongwith CRPF was running a joint operation in various areas of Saraikela district to nab Maharaj Pramanik.

He said that during the operations first Sujeet Munda was nabbed and based on his information two others were arrested.
