Imphal, April 12 (UNI) In the past twenty-four hours, 18 persons (9M, 9F) from among the general population tested positive for COVID-19.
These include JNIMS (2), RIMS (4), Babina Diagnostics (6), Raj Medicity (1), RD Wing (1), Escent Diagnostics (1), Kangpokpi RAT (2) and Jiribam RAT (1).
They were from Imphal East (6), Imphal West (8), Churachandpur (1), Kangpokpi (2) and Jiribam (1). All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing were in place.
The cumulative number of deaths in the state currently stands at 376.
In the past 24 hours 6 more people were discharged after recovering from the disease all from Home Isolation .
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state currently is 29,514 (General Population - 26,060 and Central Security Personnel — 3,454). The cumulative number of recovered cases (after reconciliation data from discharge team as on April 12, 2021) was 29,035 (General Population — 25,598 and Central Security Personnel — 3,437). The number of active cases (after reconciliation data from discharge team as on 12 April, 2021)
was 103 (General Population — 90 and Central Security Personnel — 13).
The recovery rate in the state is currently at 98.37 %.
Air passengers who travelled to the state on April, 10 by Indigo flights 6E-2615 in rows 23-29 and 6E-524 in rows 22-28 ," April, 11 by Indigo flights 6E-172 in rows 1-5 and 6E-2251 in rows 10-16 were asked
to inform the Common Covid Control Room 18003453818 or respective District Surveillance Officers (DSO) immediately.
On Monday 1,618 people were vaccinated and the cumulative number reached 94,566.
