Srinagar, Apr 12 (UNI) Ms Iltija Mufti, daughter of former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Monday tested positive for COVID-19.
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba said that her daughter Iltija has been advised self isolation.
Taking to micro-blogging twitter, vice chairperson of the Peoples Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) Mehbooba said,'Want to confirm media reports that my younger daughter Iltija tested positive for COVID today. As advised by doctors she is now self isolating & taking all the necessary precautions.'
Iltija had tweeted on behalf of her mother Mehbooba when the latter was under detention since August 5, 2019 when the Centre abrogated Article 370, 35 A and divided the erstwhile state into two Union Territories (UTs).
