    Realized why should I be nice or even pretend to be anymore?

    Doesn't really benefit a guy like me anymore not to mention lots of times people take niceness for weakness

    Like today I got some takeout and the cashier asked if I wanted a plastic spoon and fork

    The nice me would have said something like "Yes thank you"

    The new me was "Well how am I supposed to eat this without utensils?"

    Guy was kinda stunned and just gave me the utensils without saying anything else

    I eat stuff all the time without utensils or washing my hands, hello covid, anyways sounds like the cashier was more stunned by your response indicating that maybe you are mentally unwell than the "jerk or not jerk" thought that might have crossed his mind.
