Chasing a mammoth total of 221 set by Punjab Kings, Rajasthan Royals could score 217 in its quota of 20 overs.

Earlier in the evening, Samson won the toss for Rajasthan Royals and elected to bowl first. Batting first, Punjab Kings set a target of 222, fuelled by skipper Rahul's 50-ball 91.
