Before, if I put up a picture on the internet, anybody could copy it and reuse it as much as they want. Nobody owned it because you couldn't tell the difference between one copy and another.
Now, with blockchain tech, I can have a picture and it is a unique thing that can be discerned from other copies.

People buy art/pictures on blockchains like Tezos and Ethereum. The ownership right is usually saved on the blockchain, which is immutable.
