The K-pop superband BTS is known for their stellar hits. The music video for Dynamite became historic for BTS that topped the Billboard's main singles chart last year. BTS' most-watched music video is DNA with 1.1 billion views, followed by Boy With Luv Feat. Halsey and Fake Love. The band owns 28 music videos that have been watched at least 100 million times. The septet recently appeared on the KBS 2TV talk show special Let’s BTS where they talked about their past releases. As the conversation kept going, Suga revealed that there's one of the BTS songs that comforts him the most. And guess what, the BTS boy band has never performed the song live.
BTS had released an album named Love Yourself: Tear which features 11 songs such as Intro: Singularity, Fake Love, The Truth Untold (featuring Steve Aoki), 134340, Paradise, Love Maze, Magic Shop, Airplane Pt. 2, Anpanman, So What, and Outro: Tear. Out of which, Paradise is the song that Suga finds most comforting.
"Last year, all the members struggled with not being able to perform. I got a lot of real comfort from our songs Answer: Love Myself and Paradise. I listened to them from the perspective of a listener and realized how comforting they were,” Suga said, as reported by Soompi.
Paradise is one song that the BTS members Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have never performed live. It wasn't even promoted with the album. The song was released almost 3 years ago and the BTS Army feels that it has never got the recognition it deserves.
"Paradise is the ONLY song from their Love Yourself: Tear album to not have at least one live performance. The only song from an 11 song album,” a Reddit user wrote. Another user said, "The fact that this song was paid LITERAL dust by BTS and BH makes me wanna scream. Like they haven’t performed it once, and that should be a crime.”
This year, the BTS band earned their first Grammy nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, but they lost out to Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category. The septet performed Dynamite in a pre-recorded video, taking their dynamic gig from the Grammys stage to a rooftop overseeing a breathtaking night view of the South Korean Capital city.
This is the third consecutive year that BTS has participated at the Grammy Awards. In 2019, they first appeared as presenters for Best R&B Album, and last year the band took the stage for Old Town Road alongside Lil Nas X and other performers.
