The year 2020 took away one incredible talent after another from Bollywood. Sajid Khan's younger brother, Wajid passed away due to kidney complications. In an emotional episode dedicated to Wajid Khan on Pro Music League, his elder brother Sajid Khan revealed how his wife donated her kidney to him when they could not find a matching donor. On the show, Sajid Khan's mother Razina said that her daughter-in-law Lubna secretly did all the paperwork to donate her kidney to Wajid Khan. Razina said, "We had asked all our relatives, however, no one came forward, but during that time, Lubna secretly got all her tests done and gave him her Kidney. In today's time, even parents don't give kidney to their kids, but she gave it without thinking twice." Sajid Khan's wife Lubna was also on the show. She spoke about how Wajid Khan was upset on knowing that she was going to be his donor. She said on the show, "Before the last test, I told Wajid everything and told him that if we're a match, we'll go for a transplant. He was very upset, but I told him one thing that you're very important to me, and that left him speechless. The person who has always stood by everyone, if his family doesn't stand by him in his time of need, then it is very shameful. Thankfully, we were a match. Sajid, my mother, and my children were very supportive, and I am happy I could do this for him." In more heart-breaking confessions, Sajid Khan said that people cheated him financially when was desperately looking out for a kidney. He said that people would take money, and not turn up after that. It seems Wajid Khan was ailing for more than two years. It was their mother, Razina who did not leave his side. He said he is proud of Lubna's selfless decision for the family. Sajid Khan stated on the show, "We had money, name, fame, and we went to the best doctors, but we couldn't get the right match of kidney. People took money from me saying I will donate my kidney and then they just disappeared. I used to wait at the airport for hours for people to come, but they'd never turn up."
