SUVs are in high demand and that is why almost every manufacturer is making one. The manufacturers are also now making longer versions of their mid-size SUVs while others are making an all-new generation of the SUVs. Today we list such 7 SUVs that are 7-seaters and will be launching in 2021.

Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace

Volkswagen will be launching the 7-seater version of the Tiguan, which is called AllSpace. The manufacturer announced that they will be importing the Tiguan AllSpace for the Indian market. It will be offered only with a petrol engine. It will be a 2.0-litre TSI unit that will produce 190 PS of max power and a peak torque output of 320 Nm. It will come mated to a 7-speed DSG Dual-Clutch automatic gearbox that will power all four wheels through an intelligent four-wheel-drive system known as 4MOTION. It will come with a lot of features such as seven airbags, park assistance, an electronic stability program, three-zone climate control, keyless access, panoramic sunroof, hill descent control, hill hold control and a lot more. The SUV is expected to enter the Indian market sometime this year.

Skoda Kodiaq Facelift

Skoda Auto will be launching a facelift to their flagship SUV which is the Kodiaq. It will get a new front fascia with slimmer LED headlamps. It will get a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine that produces 190 PS of max power and a peak torque output of 320 Nm. It will be offered only with a 7-speed DSG Dual-Clutch automatic gearbox. The Kodiaq Facelift will be unveiled on April 13th and the launch is slated to happen somewhere between July and September i.e. third quarter of 2021.

All-new 2021 Mahindra Scorpio

 

Mahindra will be launching an all-new generation of the Scorpio. It is much bigger in dimensions than the current Scorpio. It will get twin-pod LED projector headlamps up-front with an aggressive bumper. There will be C-shaped LED Daytime Running Lamps that surround the fog lamps. There will be roof rails, an electric sunroof and the tailgate will still be side hinged. It will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine and a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine. Both the engines will be offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The 2021 Scorpio will be launched by the festive season. So, expect it to be unveiled around October or November 2021.

Mahindra XUV700

 

The all-new XUV700 is one of the most-awaited launches of 2021. Fortunately, the SUV will launch between Q2 and Q3 of the calendar year 2021. We can expect the SUV to be on sale before the 2021 Diwali. It will get LED headlamps with LED Daytime Running Lamps, panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery, soft-touch materials for the cabin, digital instrument cluster and a lot more. The XUV700 will also come with a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine and a 2.2-litre diesel engine. Both the engines will be offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.

Mahindra Bolero Neo

Well, this came as a surprise as everyone was thinking that the TUV300 was getting a facelift. However, with the recent leaks, it was revealed that the SUV was the Bolero Neo. The front grille has been revised with thick chrome slats and it now also gets new headlamps. The spare wheel still is mounted on the tailgate. The new SUV is expected to launch in the Indian market sometime this year.

Jeep Commander

Jeep is working on a 7-seater version of the Compass. The test mules of the SUV has already been spied in many regions. There are rumours that the new SUV will be called Commander. The first half of the SUV will stay the same as the Compass, the differences will start from the rear door which will be longer to enable easy ingress and egress. The rear will be entirely redone to make the SUV look distinct. The SUV will get the same 2.0-litre MultiJet 2 diesel engine as the Compass but it will be in a higher state of tune. So, expect it to produce around 200 PS of max power and a peak torque output of 400 Nm. The SUV is expected to get unveiled by the end of 2021 for the Indian market.

Hyundai Alcazar

 

Hyundai Alcazar was just unveiled and it will be positioned between the Creta and the Tucson. It is essentially a 7-seater version of the Creta. It has a longer wheelbase measuring 2,760 mm. This has been done to accommodate the third-row of seats. It will also come with an option of captain seats for the second row. Powering the Alcazar will be two engine options. There will be a 2.0-litre petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The petrol engine puts out 152 bhp of max power and a peak torque output of 192 Nm. The diesel engine puts out 115 PS of max power and a peak torque output of 250 Nm. Both the engines will be offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The SUV is expected to go on sale sometime in June 2021.
