‘1 in a 100 million’ iPhone 11 Pro model sold at almost Rs 2 lakhs: Report

An iPhone with a misplaced Apple logo on the back is apparently worth the price of two standard iPhones.
The worst nightmare of anyone suffering from an OCD came true when an iPhone 11 Pro Max model was found housing a slightly misplaced logo, which according to the Internal Archive is rarer than 1 in 100 million, making the device extremely unique.
The Internal Archive says that the device was sold at $2,700 (approximately over Rs 2 lakhs).
As seen from the images, the misplaced logo is not only placed slightly on the right side instead of being in the centre, it also is slightly angled anticlockwise.
A report by 9to5Mac says that usually when such misprints take place, they are destroyed during manufacturing only to avoid them getting into the hands of collectors and users.
In related news, Apple had recently announced the dates of its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2021. Just like last year, this year’s event too will be held virtually. It will start on June 7 and will go on till June 11.
At the keynote event, which will take place on the first day, Apple will “offer unique insight” of what it will bring to iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS and watchOS. Apple users will be getting to know about all the new features that will be rolled out later this year with iOS 15, macOS 12, watchOS 8, and more.
“We are working to make WWDC21 our biggest and best yet, and are excited to offer Apple developers new tools to support them as they create apps that change the way we live, work, and play,” said Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations and Enterprise and Education Marketing.
