The Dow Jones Industrial Average finished up 1,048.86 points, or 5.20 per cent, to 21,237.38 on Tuesday. The S&P500 index increased 143.06 points, or 6.00 per cent, to 2,529.19.
The share price of Indus Towers Ltd. dropped 5.34 per cent to Rs 242.95 at 01:07PM (IST) in Monday's trade. The scrip has hit a high of Rs 255.8 and low of Rs 241.0 so far during the session. The stock had closed at Rs 256.65 in the previous session.

The counter has had a total traded volume of 81023 shares so far with a value of Rs 1.98 crore on the NSE. It traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 21.35 and a price-to-book ratio of 2.19.

A higher price-to-earnings ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price for per rupee earnings given by the stock because of better future growth expectations.

The price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and reflects the price investors are willing to pay even for no growth in the business.

The scrip gained 39.55 per cent during the past one year, while the 30-share index advanced 73.65 per cent during the same period.

Indus Towers Ltd. belongs to the Telecommunications - Allied Services industry.

Promoters held 41.73 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Dec-2020, while foreign investors and domestic institutional investors ownership stood at 26.63 per cent and 0.48 per cent, respectively.

Key Financials
The firm reported consolidated sales of Rs 4141.6 crore for the quarter ended 31-Dec-2020, up 131.56 per cent from the previous quarter's Rs 1788.6 crore and up 145.87 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 1684.5 crore.

Profit for the latest quarter stood at Rs 979.1 crore, up 22.59 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
