Akshay Kumar returns home after testing negative for COVID-19, wife Twinkle Khanna says, 'good to have him back'

Taking to her Instagram handle, his wifey and former actress Twinkle Khanna confirmed the same by sharing a post, a monochrome caricature of the couple and captioned it as, 'Safe and sound and good to have him back around. #allizwell' revealing that Khiladi Kumar has now recovered from the virus. In no time, the post went viral as the happy fans took to the comment section and showered their love upon him by dropping heart emojis in numbers. Earlier, he shocked his fans and friends when he confirmed that he got positive for coronavirus despite being one of the fittest actors in the B-Town as he took to his social media handles and issued a statement which read, 'I wish to inform everyone that, earlier this morning, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all the protocols, I have immediately isolated myself. I'm under home quarantine and have sought necessary medical care. I would sincerely request all those that have come in contact with me to get themselves tested and take care. Back in action very soon!' Later, while giving his health update, he issued another statement where he revealed that he is being hospitalised. He wrote, 'Thank you, everyone, for all your warm wishes and prayers, they seem to be working. I am doing fine, but as a precautionary measure under medical advice, I have been hospitalised. I hope to be back soon'. Meanwhile, on the work front, the dashing actor is keeping up very busy, working on multiple projects. He will be next seen in the much-awaited Rohit Shetty's directorial 'Sooryavanshi'. Before getting positive for COVID-19, he was shooting for his upcoming film ‘Ram Setu’ with Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharrucha.
