A new active Western Disturbance is very likely to affect Western Himalayan Region during April 14 and 18 and adjoining plains during April 15 and 18, the IMD has said.

It is very likely to cause, scattered to fairly widespread rainfall with thunderstorm, lightning and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) during April 14 and 18 over Western Himalayan Region and isolated light rainfall with thunderstorm, lightning and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) over adjoining plains between April 15 and 18.

Isolated heavy rainfall are also very likely over Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan and

Muzaffarabad on April 15 April. Thunderstorm/dust storm at isolated places also likely over West

Rajasthan on April 15 and 16, it said.
