Minister rules out holding online examination in Karnataka

Bengaluru, Apr 12(UNI) Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister Dr C N Ashwath Narayna, who is also Minister for Higher Education, on Monday ruled out the possibility of holding an Online examination in the State.
Speaking to newsmen after meeting officials here, he said even though parents have been insisting for a online examination due to Coronavirus surge , this system will not be possible at present and exams will be held offline.
He said that as soon as the transport strike is called off, the examination dates for various courses will be announced.

He said that once the covid-19 second wave comes under control in the State, the offline classes will commence. Option for online class will also be available.
