Telangana: Border districts with high readiness as COVID fallen spike

Hyderabad: Second wave of COVID-19 infections in Telangana are becoming a major cause for concern, with active cases in the state reaching 21,864 on Sunday.

The health department’s bulletin revealed that 2,251 newly confirmed cases had been reported in the state in the past 24 hours, raising the total score to 3,299,529. Six with six more deaths on Sunday increased the death toll to 1,765.

GHMC reported as many as 355 positive people on Sunday, and neighboring Medchal-Malkajgiri with 258 cases, and Rangareddy with 200 cases. Apart from this which is always the pinnacle of the COVID-19 a list, the state is currently dealing with a number of cases in semi-urban and rural districts.

In districts bordering Maharashtra and Karnataka, there is a high alert, where business is rising exponentially by the day. It has been noted that many residents of Gadchiroli district in Maharashtra come to Mahadevpoor, Chityal and Kaleshwaram in the Bhupalpally district of the state to do agricultural or personal work.

In addition, Nizamabad reported 244 positives on Sunday; followed by Sangareddy with 132, Jagtiyal with 117, Nirmal with 84, Adilabad with 77, Kamareddy with 70, Mahbubnagar with 53, Mancherial with 41, Medak with 27, Jayashankar Bhupalpally with 18, Asifabad with 17 cases recorded and Mulugu with 7 new confirmed incidents.

Some of these districts were summoned last month COVID-free, with zero cases reported.

Take note of rising COVID-19 affairs, two towns in the Adilabad district – Ponnala and Boath – imposed a self-barrier on Thursday.

“Whoever is eligible to take the vaccine should take it, and that’s one way to break the spread now,” Director of Public Health Dr G Srinivasa Rao said on Sunday.

More than 18.56 lakh people in the state received their first dose COVID-19 vaccine while more than 3.02 lakh also received their second shot on April 11, a State Health Ministry bulletin noted.
