Two arrested for duping in Navi Mumbai

Thane, Apr 11 (UNI) The Navi Mumbai Police have arrested two people who allegedly stole money from people under the pretext of helping them count the currency notes.
An offence under sections 406, 420 and 34 of Indian Penal Code had been registered with the APMC police station wherein unidentified persons had robbed the victim of his Rs 10,000 cash by offering help to count the currency notes, police said on Saturday.
The APMC police finally zeroed in on the two accused and arrested them recently.
The arrested accused have been identified as Zahedali Javedali Jaffri (36) and Kabulali Naushadali Jaffri (56).
They confessed to having committed such crimes at several places.
There were 21 crimes registered against Zahedali and 14 against Kabulali.
The APMC police are carrying out further probe into the crime, it was stated.
