Corona’s second wave has affected the Hollywood box office as well. The movies that were finalized to be released on certain dates have been postponed now citing the upsurge in corona cases. Recently, action hero Tom Cruise’s movie ‘Top Gun: Maverick’, ‘Mision: Impossible 7’ movie releases were postponed.

Top Gun: Maverick is a sequel to 1986’s tom Cruise movie ‘Top Gun’. The movie was actually slated to be released on 2 July, but now the date is postponed to 19 november this year. Similarly, Mission: Impossible 7’ is slated for 4 november 2020 release, but it is postponed to 7 July 2023.
Also, another movie ‘Snake Eyes’ which is scheduled to be released on 23 July has been postponed to 22 October. There are also some other hollywood movies that have postponed their releases due to the Corona effect.

On the other hand even in india most of the movies are being postponed due to the increase in Corona cases. Some of the state governments here already ordered the theaters to run with only 50% occupancy. Now hollywood also joined the list and the movies there are being postponed just like our indian movies.
