Hyderabad: Man objects to spitting; attacked

Hyderabad: A case has been registered against unknown persons because he attacked a man when he objected to one of the attackers spitting in a public place.

According to police, R Devendar brought his father Hanumanthu, a GHMC outsourcing worker, to UPHC Shalivahana Nagar for the Covid-19 vaccination. While Devendar was standing outside the UPHC, a person, about 65 years old, spat near the gate.

‘Devendar objected to this conduct leading to an argument. “Soon two more people came to the scene and allegedly assaulted him,” said the Malakpet police. A case has been registered based on Devendar’s complaint.
